Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992) was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She appears primarily on screen in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of actor Savitri for her role in the Telugu movie Mahanati (2018). In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar's parents are film producer G. Suresh Kumar & actor Menaka G. Suresh. At the beginning of 2000, she was a teen actress. After studying fashion design, Keerthy returned to film. She played her debut leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Her first film outside of Malayalam was Idhuenna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. It didn't do well at the box office. The director was A. L. Vijay together with Vikram, who released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The film didn't fare very well, but it did release. Due to her busy schedule, in 2015 she was forced to withdraw from films on which she already began working, like Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye or Deekay's Kavalaivendam. The actress was in two films in rapid succession together with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also the leading actor for Prabhu's Thodari. In 2015 the movie was later delayed and reports claim that Janakitho will debut in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja was made in the year 2016 and featured actor Ram Pothineni. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa directed by Bharathan and featuring actor Vijay. She also appeared on screen in Tamil film Paambhu Sattai and Telugu film Nenu Local in 2017.
