Aaliyah Daniel Haughton exploded into fame in 1994 when she released her album debut Age Ain't Anything But an Numer. The singer was only 15 at the time and the album became Gold. R. Kelly heavily influenced this collaboration, and helped to bring her up to the top of the charts. In 1996 she collaborated with Jermaine Dpri and Timbaland on her second studio album One In A Million, that included the top-selling track If Your Girl Only knew. Aaliyah received international recognition for her R&B singing with the release of this album. She was a part of the romantic action film Romeo Must Die alongside martial arts legend Jet-Li. Joel Silver, film producer and director of the film Romeo Must Die caught her during an awards event. Queen of the Damned was her first role in 2002. It's based on an Anne Rice novel. The Matrix Sequels saw her playing Zee, after appearing on The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions that same year. In 1999, 2001, 2002, and 2003 the singer was nominated for four Grammy Awards. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is of Indian descent and was born in Connecticut. Mann is the abbreviation used for her first name in marriage, Mankad. However, she uses both Aarti Mann and Aarti Majumdar for her professional name. The acting career of her began in mid-2000's with minor parts in movies and TV. Other notable works she has done are Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. She has also been featured in commercials of major brands like international car manufacturer Volvo. She currently lives in Los Angeles along with her spouse, daughter, and husband. She is also pursuing her acting career.
